Our Story

Founded in 1762, Alamance is a historic congregation looking with hope and joy toward its future. On Sunday mornings, families whose roots here go back generations are joyfully welcoming new faces every week. Reformed, but always eclectic, worship is an open canvas ready to be painted. Named Greensboro’s Outstanding Philanthropic Organization of the Year in 2017, Alamance puts its heart and hands toward God’s call to mission. A spirited and Spirit-filled church, we are always open to a new adventure. A place of welcome for all, we are a church that embraces people from all backgrounds and world-views. A place where faith is carefully cultivated, we are looking to grow deep as well as wide.
