“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.” ~2 Peter 3:18
Led by the Holy Spirit and in partnership with families, the youth ministry of Alamance Presbyterian Church exists to empower all young people to know and grow into their identity as beloved children of God.
We are called to be a Christ-centered community marked by:
Sharing God’s love through sharing life with our young people; learning and serving alongside them in both their lives at church and their lives beyond the church.
Growing the faith of our youth by engaging them with Scriptural teachings, and empowering families and the wider congregation to be involved in youth faith development through prayer and personal relationship.
Modeling vulnerability by embracing a way of life that welcomes authenticity, truth, and brokenness in the name of growth, both personally and collectively.
Serving one another by offering the same extravagant forgiveness, belonging, and grace that God extends to us in Jesus Christ as participants of God’s ministry of reconciliation in the world, both locally and globally.
Celebrating the beloved community by laughing & playing together, sharing joy and fun.
