To comply with NC and Guilford County Safer at Home COVID-19 pandemic protocols, all programs and activities at APC are cancelled until further notice.
The Children's Ministry at Alamance Presbyterian Church strives to provide a safe and loving church community where children will learn who Jesus is, experience his love and grow to become followers of Jesus.

Kids Reaching Out to Christ's Kingdom is a fellowship group for 2nd-5th graders. This group meets every Sunday of each month during the school year, from 5-6:30 p.m., for a simple meal and a program that explores Christian life from a child's perspective through Bible stories, games and projects.
All children from PreK-5th grade meet together from 9-9:50 a.m. each Sunday, in a dedicated space. The curriculum is Godly Play. The Godly Play room is on the lower level of the Grant building. (Take the elevator to level LR, then go down the hall to the left until you get to the last door on the left.)
What is Godly Play?
The Godly Play Foundation says, “Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language, and to enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play.”
The Godly Play sacred space is both educational and worshipful; and a calm, relaxing space for children to “wonder through God’s word.”
Please contact Joy Thomas (email@example.com) with any questions about Godly Play. Or, visit the Godly Play website (www.godlyplay.org) for information. Watch the “Introduction to Godly Play” video on YouTube for a sneak peek at the Godly Play experience.
Sunday Morning Nursery:
The nursery is provided for infants and young toddlers Sunday mornings starting at 9 a.m. and until worship is over. The nursery is located in the Child Development Building, in room 217.
Children Engaging in Worship
Children's Church: Children from age 4 - 5th grade enjoy a special time in the Community Room (under the sanctuary) after the Time with Children during worship. It's a special worship service of story and song, designed just for them! Children rejoin the congregation for the last part of the worship service.
Worship Bags: Children's worship bags are provided at the sanctuary entrances. They provide educational fun for children wishing to stay with their parents.
